Dear Gloria Dei
Dear Gloria Dei family, Gen2Gen. “One generation will praise Thy works to another…” (Psalm 145:4) Who shared the love of Jesus with you? Was it done in some Gen2Gen way? It was for me. My grandparents and parents, uncles and aunts, friends, pastors – all sorts of people witnessed to their faith through word and actions. I can never thank them enough. Speaking of Gen2Gen – GOOD SHEPHERD SUNDAY – On May 12, Mother’s Day, enjoy the petting zoo and yogurt parfaits! Did your mother share the faith with you? If so, give thanks. If not, was it another “mother-like” person? If so, give thanks. If not, pray for those sort of people to enter your life or be that kind of person for someone else.
Cinco de Mágico This Sunday, 5:00-7:00pm, music, taco bars, refreshments, a wandering magician, games, great fellowship, photo booths – basically a great party. $-Donations for food and drinks. It’s a great fiesta celebration to give thanks to God for the many ways God works Gen2Gen at Gloria Dei. Sign-up at the Welcome Table or call the office (949)493-3414. And again, this Sunday and for the next few, we are in the Season of Easter and our emphasis will be on Gen2Gen. Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! Pastor David P.S. My thanks to the many people who have shared words of kindness to me on my mother’s death. It’s much appreciated
