FUNERALS/MEMORIALS AT GLORIA DEI
Gloria Dei Lutheran Church pastors and members provide important worship services, counseling, grief support, and more. We believe God has the last word in life and death and therefore hope is possible.
If you would like to find out more information about holding a Funeral and/or Memorial Service at Gloria Dei, please click here to see a brochure or call the church office for more details (949)493-3414.
For suggestions related to hymns/songs/scripture for the service, please click here. For a planning sheet to help with some of the details (a pastor will work with the family on this form as well), please click here. A pastor will discuss the options related to a memorial service, not only celebrating the person’s life, but comforting loved ones, and proclaiming the hope of eternal life in Christ. Please click here for the Order of Service for a Memorial/Funeral in the Sanctuary.
If you would like to find out about interring a loved one at our Columbarium, please click here or again, call the church office. An interment is a brief service of prayers and scripture as a loved one’s ashes are placed in a niche. For an example of the prayers and scripture for an interment, please click here.
Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and life whoever believes in me, even though they die, shall live again.” (John 11:25)
